Reader Reviews from people who read an advance copy of the book via Craigslist.com:
"I enjoyed reading the book because I am naturally attracted to self-help books. I thought that it was an unique approach to employ the allegorical approach of using animals and morals. I enjoyed the humor because it brought some levity to a serious matter. It also added a personal touch with an updated twist to current times. I liked the fact that the author explained his background from his own life and how he has gotten to this stage in his life----it makes things real. Overall the length was appropriate, it made the points succinctly and with emphasis. I like the interactive ability to take an online survey, print it out and use it readily to analyze results. Overall, I would recommend this book to friends and purchase it for myself and or as a gift for a friend."

"While I haven't read a huge number of these types of books, I have read some - and this is by far my favorite. The simplicity is a wonderful boon, and it's a good thing that I've heard about most or all of the 25 principles. The survey was great! I particularly liked the ability to rate things as more or less important."

"Overall, the information was well presented. All the animals/characters were well developed and gave an accurate portrayal of people. The book is easy to follow and allows the reader to be actively learning about his/herself. The charts were helpful in summarizing the information and will be helpful as a quick reference. I definitely enjoyed reading the book, it was educational, yet fun at the same time!"

"At first, I felt like the story of Fixity Fox and Pouting Pig was a little childish. [However] I did start appreciating the story when the Fox started learning things about himself. It made me think about 'all knowing' therapists. I appreciated that it pointed out that we all are learning about life. I also like the humor - I remember the 'other white meat' joke. I also like the author's note at the end. I loved the Reader Reflection Sections and the Online survey. I enjoy reading self-help books. I would recommend this book to a friend that enjoys reading self-help books."
